Examples of Duties
System Administration and Support:
Administer and maintain HRIS platforms, ensuring system functionality and data accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with IT and vendors when needed.
Regularly audit systems to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Vendor and Relationship Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for HR software vendors, managing contracts and service-level agreements.
Work with vendors to resolve issues and improve system functionality, ensuring the systems meet our evolving needs.
Data Management and Reporting:
Ensure data integrity through accurate entry, maintenance, and reporting.
Develop custom reports and dashboards to help drive HR decisions.
Analyze data trends and present actionable insights to leadership.
HR Operations Support:
Assist with HR operations such as onboarding, offboarding, and document management.
Collaborate with the HR team to process employee changes and support other HR initiatives as needed. · Assist HR Technician with data entry and internal process improvement.
End-User Support and Training:
Provide ongoing support and training for HR staff and employees on system usage and best practices.
Create user guides and documentation to ensure smooth system navigation.
Process Improvement and Compliance:
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
Ensure HRIS platforms are compliant with data protection regulations and internal security protocols.
Typical Qualifications
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
Required: At least 2 years of experience managing or supporting HRIS platforms.
Preferred: Experience with systems like Tyler Munis, Neogov, Bentek, LinkedIn Learning, or similar platforms.
Experience in HR or a related field is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Required: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Preferred: Familiarity with HRIS platforms and related tools.
Certifications (Preferred):
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
