Bi-Lingual Ophthalmic Technician

We are a leading ophthalmology clinic dedicated to providing top-quality eye care to our diverse patient community. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Bilingual Ophthalmic Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmologists with patient exams and diagnostic testing
• Perform preliminary eye exams, including visual acuity tests and tonometry
• Administer eye drops and assist with minor procedures
• Educate patients on treatments, medications, and post-visit care
• Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic equipment
• Accurately document patient history and test results in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring clear communication in both English and Spanish

Requirements:

• Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
• Previous experience as an ophthalmic technician preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• COA or COT certification is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
