Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven HR Manager to join our growing team at Summit Point Roofing. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and developing all human resource functions, ensuring the organization's human capital is aligned with the company's goals. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws.
Core Responsibilities:
- Be a champion for change management and strategic planning to aid with company growth goals.
- Lead recruitment efforts by developing job descriptions, posting job ads, conducting interviews, and hiring candidates.
- Effectively engage with new hires, onboarding and preparing them for employment with SPR.
- Conduct new hire orientation and check-ins to ensure employees are supported.
- Accurately reflect job responsibilities during the hiring process to maximize retention and employee performance.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and resolve conflicts.
- Address employee concerns and promote engagement and retention.
- Coordinate company events and mediums to honor employee’s birthdays, anniversaries, and important life moments.
- Manage employee performance evaluations, feedback processes, and tracking.
- Design or organize training programs to enhance employee skills driving talent optimization.
- Identify career pathways to engage employees and develop internal workforce.
- Maintain a conscious strategic eye to succession planning and cross-training.
- Oversee the administration of employee compensation, bonuses, benefits, and 401k.
- Advise on salary adjustments and benefit modifications.
- Ensure the organization adheres to labor laws, health and safety regulations, and HR policies.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data privacy compliance.
- Track HR metrics and report on key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Provide insights on workforce planning, employee satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Utilization of HR & Payroll software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Previous experience with OSHA compliance is a plus.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
