Job Scope and Responsibilities
· Under guidance from the Safety Director, organize and track safety records and compliance documents in digital and paper form
· Track safety supply purchases and deliveries to job sites
· Maintain inventory of safety equipment and supplies
· Enter data into tracking spreadsheets and databases
· Create and print training certificates
· Assign and track employee training and qualification in external systems
· Assist in scheduling training by coordinating with employees as well as internal and external training providers
· Assist in planning safety-related events
Qualifications
· Associate’s Degree; experience may be considered in lieu of degree
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
· Solid organizational and written communication skills
· Experience and/or education in construction or safety-related fields is a plus, though we will provide on-the-job training
· Have completed the OSHA 30-hour course or able to complete within first two months of hire
This is an office position, with possible occasional travel to Tucson-area job sites and supply vendors
Expect typical work hours to be 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with a ½ hour lunch (40 hour work week). However, we can be flexible with work scheduling on a case-by-case basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
