What You’ll Do:
- Payroll Coordination – Process bi-weekly payrolls in line with local, state, and federal regulations while ensuring all employee records are up to date and accurate.
- Benefits Management – Lead the annual open enrollment process, managing employee communications, meetings, and selections. Guide employees through their benefits options and answer any questions they may have.
- Employee Records – Maintain and update employee payroll files, ensuring all hire, termination, and benefit changes are reflected in HR and ADP profiles.
- Benefit Enrollment – Work directly with employees to ensure they are enrolled in their chosen benefits and assist with any required changes.
- Audit & Compliance – Audit carrier invoices for accuracy, ensure COBRA coverage for terminated employees, and handle benefit-related correspondence with carriers and state agencies.
- Reporting & Reconciliation – Generate and review reports from ADP to ensure all employee benefits and payroll deductions are accurately processed. Assist Accounts Payable with invoice reconciliation and other monthly tasks.
- Support & Documentation – Manage employee benefit inquiries, prepare new hire documentation, and assist with HR projects as needed.
What You Bring:
- Experience – Minimum 5 years in HR or payroll, with at least 6 months in benefits administration.
- ADP Familiarity – Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred.
- Strong Organizational Skills – Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with precision, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Detail-Oriented – A keen eye for accuracy in payroll and benefits administration.
- Communication Skills – Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and carriers, both verbally and in writing.
- Technical Proficiency – Intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
