Overview :
Sunday Rivers Events & Competitions team is searching for an Events Manager to plan and execute our classic event s and bring new ideas to the table. From the Tough Mountain Challenge and Nort h American Wife Carrying Championship to firewor k s, concerts, and culinary adventures, the Events Manager works collaboratively and effici e ntly to brin g exciting activities to the schedule for Sunday Rivers guests.
Responsibilities :
- Implementing events / activities throughout the year, including themed weeks, entertainment series, and annual events.
- Oversee resort mascots Eddy and Betty.
- Book music for all events.
- Work with outside vendors for stage and tent rental, scheduling fireworks shows, sound production, and black diamond events.
- Interact with all departments around the resort to ensure all policies and procedures are followed, processing the correct paperwork for all requests.
- Reference a budget for all events, including financial recaps post event.
- Work with Mountain Operations to coordinate any on-hill needs
