Job Title: Highlands Dining Supervisor
Location: 3935 Sunnyside Drive, on-site Restaurant.
Hours: Days vary, evening shift (11:00am-8:00pm), Full Time Position
Overview & General Responsibilities: Do you have a passion for food and creating exceptional dining experiences? Sunnyside is seeking a Highlands Dining Supervisor to lead our oversee daily dining operations. In this role, you will ensure a welcoming, organized environment while supervising breakfast prep, kitchen tasks, and specialty baked goods for our residents and staff.
- Oversee daily operations of Highlands Dining to create an inviting, organized, and positive atmosphere
- Ensure all opening & closing procedures have been followed daily
- Comfort with opening and/or closing kitchen/restaurant.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and a positive, calm environment.
- Mix ingredients to prepare menu items and baked goods for all dining venues according to prescribed recipes or portions, referring to recipe card or book as needed.
- Prepare and serve food to customers seated at the Highlands Dining area.
- Keep stocked with necessary food items, baking, and other supplies at all times.
- Supervise Highlands Dining to ensure operations maintain quality & efficiency.
- Assist with training of all new Highlands Dining cooks.
- Oversee staff to ensure all procedures are completed at the end of shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure every customer enjoys an excellent dining experience.
- Ensure all food preparation and service areas are cleaned and sanitized at the end of shift.
- Assist in training staff and monitoring the Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS) to ensure quality assurance (QA) and sanitation compliance.
- Have knowledge of specific equipment cleaning and operating procedures of all equipment.
- Follow and support the policies and procedures established by the Dining Services department.
- Be dressed in appropriate and complete uniform which is neat and clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
