Job Title: LPN- Assisted Living & Memory Support
Location: 3935 Sunnyside Drive Harrisonburg VA 22801; Assisted Living & Memory Support
Hours: 3pm-11pm. PRN opportunities available.
Position Overview & General Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Assisted Living Staff Nurse are to provide quality, professional health care for all residents of Assisted Living. The primary responsibilities of our Nurses are to administer medications as prescribed, observe and document resident changes, and support nurse aide's in the daily care, needs, and desires of the residents. In addition to providing supervision for the Medication Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) in collaboration with the Assisted Living Director.

- Shift Differentials: $2.00/hr for evening hours (3pm-11pm) and $2.50/hr for night-time hours (11pm-7am). $3.00/hr when working on Saturday and Sunday (in addition to evening/ or night shift differential).

Requirements
- Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license through Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Must have CPR or ability to obtain.
- Ability to process information accurately, make appropriate decisions and take appropriate action based upon the information available.
- Supervisory skills required; experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with confidential information and maintain its integrity.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in stressful environment and deal with medical emergency situations.
- Strong customer service skills; maintain a hospitality approach to engaging with all individuals.
Physical and Environmental Considerations:
This job operates in a residential style nursing environment with normal lighting levels (except where lighting is reduced in resident rooms), comfortable temperature ranges, good air quality, ventilation and low noise levels. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time. Additionally employee will routinely sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 60 lbs or less and occasionally more than 60 lbs. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
