The Community wide Procedure Scheduler is the direct link between the Physician offices, patients, and the Hospital. 75% of the job includes using a telephone and computer simultaneously at a desk. Interpersonal and telephone communications skills are essential, and accuracy is also essential, in addition to maintaining privacy for vital patient information. Job Summary And Qualifications

- You will function as the department-wide receptionist/secretary
- You will cross-train to enter and validate charges for patient bills and have Smart Access, Medibuy access, and x-drive access to support the billing process in the OR
- You will support the Director using Kronos and PLUS applications
- High School Diploma
- Associate Degree preferred
- The medical Terminology program/class, is appreciated
- Computer Literate in Meditech/HBOC application or similar
- Minimum of one-year (1) experience scheduling at a hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center, or Physician's office
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology
- Computer proficiency
