Qualifications

Complete pre-employment requirements with favorable outcomes to include local, state, and federal criminal background checks; driving record check; drug screenings; and pre-employment physical.

Must be able to sit, stand, and walk up 3-6 hours per day.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to apply basic computer skills

Possess good oral and written skills

High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least one year of experience working in the human service field preferred
At least one year of supervisory experience preferred
Essential Functions
Identifies and reports any suspected abuse or violations of an individuals rights
Ensures that the health, safety and well-being of the individuals are protected at all times
Supervises and maintains a positive team of well trained employees who provide support, direction and oversight to the interactions of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Provides training and constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring
Ensures implementation of therapy, training and behavior programs and data collection required by the individuals plans and regulatory agencies
Ensures that the home offers choice and creative activities within a positive innovative person directed environment
Monitors for ongoing compliance with agency directives, licensing standards and policies and procedures
Ensures all homes, outside areas and vehicles are well maintained and organized
Performs all other duties as assigned .
