Duties
- Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including cleaning up after the dogs.
- Monitor dog behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management or pet owners.
- Provide basic care such as feeding, administering medications, and ensuring access to fresh water.
- Assist in training activities or behavioral exercises as needed.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, needs, and any incidents that may occur during daycare.
- Collaborate and direct team members to create a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Dog handling
- Pet sitting
- Customer service
- Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
- Dog training knowledge
- Animal restraint techniques
- Pet grooming experience
- General animal care
