About the Role
SunSaver is looking for a confident Sales Representative with strong work-ethic, personal drive, and excellent communication skills to join the team. Working with pre-screened, warm leads they will present our products and business as a top-of-the-line option for shading products in Colorado. Our Sales Representatives build strong, trusting client relationships and exhibit keen listening skills to offer our prospective clients with a shading solution that fits their needs.
The Sales Representative must have a passion for connecting with and helping customers, as well as an internal drive to close deals and make money. They will be provided with a list of pre-scheduled, in-home consultation appointments made up of leads that have already reached out to our company, asking to book a consultation (HOT leads, NO cold-calling!).
The Sales Representative will be able to dictate their available working days on a consistent weekly schedule (ie - “Tuesday-Saturday,” “Monday-Thursday,” “Mon/Tues/Thurs/Sat,” etc), and will need to be available 3-6 days per week for sales appointments through the busy season (which runs March through September).
Outside of sales appointments, SunSaver Sales Representatives will need to be accessible by phone, text, and email throughout the week to answer client inquiries, conduct client follow-ups, and communicate with SunSaver office team members, as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home sales consultations 3-6 days per week on a consistent weekly schedule (sales appointments are scheduled by the SunSaver offices, then provided to Sales Representatives via Gmail and Google Calendar)
- Maintain expert status with customers by continuously developing both professional and technical product knowledge
- Establish and build strong relationships with clientele, answering questions and addressing concerns to establish trust and overcome objections
- Educate prospective customers on and demonstrate product feature, benefits, and functionality
- Respond to clients and SunSaver staff, following our same-day protocol and using Proper Lines of Communication (phone, text, and email)
- Attend trade shows and other industry-related events
- Accurately prepare and send both client quotes and contracts, working with the internal operations team, and following our same-day protocol
- Maintain regular follow-ups, managing prospective customers, paying clients, and lost opportunities in an independently-developed book of business
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with Owner to review book potential, current, and lost opportunities, as well as the overall status of work being conducted
- Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals
- Contribute to the overall company goals and culture by handling related duties as needed, and by being an overall positive influence within the organization
Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years in direct consumer sales with proven success
- Experience with in-home consultations, a plus
- Knowledge of construction (ie - building, framing, installation, etc) practices, a plus
- Must be willing to travel the greater Denver metro area (Castle Rock to Boulder) for in-home consultations, providing your own means of transportation (mileage reimbursement can be used as an income tax write-off as a 1099 contractor)
- Must have a reliable, well-maintained vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Acute attention to detail and quick response times
- Strong typing and general computer skills (ie - Gmail, Google Calendar, Pages and Numbers skills for Apple products, call/text, etc)
- Sales Representatives to provide and use personal cell phone and cell phone plan (direct income tax write-off as a 1099 contractor)
- Apple MacBook Air Laptop provided to SunSaver Sales Representatives (property of SunSaver)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
