Job description
We are a highly rated independent automotive repair shop, looking for a top level automotive service adviser to join our team. We require that you have a superior automotive customer service background as well as:
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent phone presence and manners
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience in the automotive field
Your job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers at front counter
- Create a comprehensive complete service ticket
- Inspect vehicle with customer if necessary
- Upon completion of automotive technician's inspection of vehicle, produce a thorough estimate of required and recommended services
- Update customer and appropriate staff members throughout the day on the status of the vehicle
- Finalize and process paperwork
- Create an invoice for the work completed
- Notify customer when vehicle is ready for pick up
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station
- Continual "Automotive Service Industry Training" is required
