Description
Position Purpose
Uphold and maintain the cleanliness and service standards of guest rooms and designated areas by following proper safety and sanitation procedures. Execute and record daily output of guest room linens and F&B linens in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures and standards
- Maintain a friendly disposition
- Maintain a well presented appearance (uniform pressed and clean, hair out of face, correct footwear)
- Inspect guest rooms per departmental standards
- Responsible for keeping records and entering properly in OPERA system completed rooms (per code)
- Inspect guest room hallways for cleanliness
- Assist team members when needed
- Assist with special projects
- Report and record any lost and found items
- Report and record all guest room status on daily rooms assignments
- Respond to guest requests and supervisor(s), other department calls for service in a timely manner
- Iron, fold, count, and record all bed linens and F&B linens
- Record daily processed, soiled and damaged bed linens and F&B linens
- Inspect laundry facility for cleanliness, soiled and damaged linen
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures that pertain to the job
- Report and record any damages, discrepancies and/or malfunctioned equipment to supervisor(s)

- Adapt to workload based on hotel occupancy
- Multi-task, organize and prioritize tasks on an hourly and daily basis

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience at a luxury establishment or equivalent establishment (required)
- Supervisory/Managerial experience required
- Moderate English verbal skills required
