What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Sunset?

Meets daily or as needed with QA Manager regarding departmental status and strategy.
Cleans and maintains all break rooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, conference rooms, main lobby and employee entrances, handwash and utility sinks.
Monitors and fills all soap, sanitizer, paper towel and toilet dispensers. Ensures all personal protective attire cabinets and dispensers are stocked. Ensures all gloves are stocked removes all trash in employee areas.
Collects and transports dirty laundry to designated areas.
Fill and maintains all footbaths in entrances and hand wash areas.
Cleans and maintains outside employee break area.
Cleans administrative offices as needed. (empties trash daily, vacuums, mops, sanitize and light dusting.)
Wears all necessary personal protective equipment required for each task.
Provides back-up for other Sanitation positions.

One to three years’ experience in the sanitation field preferred.
Understand company specific job-related applications of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Understand job specific applications of GMPs and GAP.
Understand company Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
Understand basic operational and preventive maintenance of dispensers.
Possess normal to excellent manual dexterity and motor skills.
Possessing good eye-hand coordination.
Possessing excellent listening and comprehension skills.
Must possess good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and follow instructions as given.
Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
May work near moving equipment.
Position requires repetitive motion, standing, walking, twisting, squatting, stooping and bending on a regular basis.
Limited crawling and kneeling
Sitting for meetings when necessary
Varying temperatures
Must be able to work around bees
