Child Care/ Aftercare Counselor
LOCATIONS / POSITIONS OPEN - MUST BE BILINGUAL!!
Davie Elementary Counselor – 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. / Monday – Friday / $15.00 an hour
After School Care Counselor posting for School Year 2022-2023
We are looking for bilingual, energetic, outgoing, upbeat people who like to work with children. Employees will be required to assist with planning and implementing activities geared towards school aged children. To be eligible for hire, potential employees must be available to work Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Broward County School Early Release Days.
Staff must also be able to meet the following local and state government requirements
*Must be 18 years of age or older
*Must have a High School Diploma or GED
*Must clear a federal and local background check (School Board Fingerprinting)
*Must complete a standard physical within 48 hours of hire.
(Sunshine will schedule and pay for)
*Must complete 45 hours of Child Care Courses / training within 1 year of employment
*Must complete CPR / First Aid Training within 30 days
(Sunshine will schedule / pay for)
*Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English Language.
*Must have reliable transportation
*Must be a TEAM player and enjoy working with children
