Sunshine Landscape is a fast growing Commercial Company. We have been producing quality landscapes throughout the Treasure Valley since 2000. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing landscape maintenance operations, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. Your leadership will guide a team of skilled landscapers in maintaining commercial outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a passion for enhancing the natural environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities, ensuring quality and efficiency in all tasks.
- Lead a team in the execution of groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation maintenance and repair, and pruning of trees and shrubs.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for landscape care, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the maintenance process.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Manager with any needs and problems at the sites.
- Report any issue with equipment to ensure proper maintenance.
Experience and Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance with a focus on supervising teams.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and lawn care techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and team members.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools and machinery is essential.
- A passion for maintaining aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments is highly desirable.
