Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate administration, customer service, and facilities management. This role involves assisting with property maintenance, managing tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including VRLT guidelines. The Assistant Property Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our properties and enhancing tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations of the property.
- Handle tenant inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance tenant relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of property maintenance requests and follow up on completion.
- Assist with lease administration, including drafting contracts and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Utilize Yardi software for managing tenant information, rent collections, and lease agreements.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with vendors and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Support marketing efforts to attract new tenants through effective communication and outreach strategies.
- Coordinate monthly activities for the community.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in real estate administrative roles or property management.
- Strong understanding of facilities management and property maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with VRLT regulations is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.
- Proficient in using property management software such as Yardi or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of relevant laws related to real estate and property management is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
