Job Summary
Sunstream Boat Lifts is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Boat Lift Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Sunstream boat lifts and accessories. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a passion for working on and in the water.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair Sunstream boat lifts and accessories, including the SunLift, FloatLift, and SwiftShield automatic boat cover
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on-site
- Provide customer training and support, ensuring proper use and maintenance of Sunstream products
- Keep accurate records of service calls, parts used, and work completed
- Prepare for daily jobs, including reviewing installation plans and loading equipment
- Perform shallow in-water work as needed to support installation and service tasks
- Keep tools and equipment properly maintained for optimal performance
- Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Who You Are
- Mechanically Skilled – Experience with boats, marine equipment, or related mechanical fields
- Problem-Solver – Able to diagnose and repair technical issues efficiently
- Physically Capable – Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Hands-On & Reliable – Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Customer-Oriented – Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service
- Punctual & Self-Motivated – Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
- Flexible & Hardworking – Willing to work shifts starting at 6 AM with seasonal overtime
- Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record – Required for travel to job sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marine service, mechanical repair, or field service work
- Background in electrical troubleshooting or hydraulics
- Prior experience working with boat lifts, docks, or marine equipment
- Willingness to obtain diving certification if needed

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
