Role Responsibilities
- Prepare accounting entries and work closely with regional teams to ensure they understand the financial impact of the month-end entries
- Complete all financial close deliverables. Requirements include financial reporting schedules, variance analyses, and quarterly Balance Sheet reviews with the Corporate Controller
- Prepare and/or review account reconciliations monthly to ensure all accounts are compliant with IFRS accounting guidelines
- Coordinate support for both internal and external audits for the region
- Analyze financial results to identify balance sheet risk or potential accounting breakdowns
- Partner cross-functionally to manage process improvement projects, foster greater accountability and improve efficiency throughout the region
- Prepare accurate brand investment spend reporting, conduct monthly variance analysis and partner with marketing group to ensure monthly forecasts reflect understanding of key dynamics
- Audit brand investment spend to verify spend is in line with compliance policies and accounted for accurately
- Bachelor’s degree, with major in accounting, finance, or business administration required
- 4 years of experience in finance or accounting related role, CPA strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (candidate will develop and maintain key working relationships within the organization that cross over accounting, operations, and commercial finance)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills required
- Ability to conceptualize and think creatively
- Specific experience in the spirits, beverage, or consumer reports business would be a plus
- Knowledge of SAP financial applications and systems preferred, but not required

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
