Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented for guests or residents.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring.
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas with a focus on hygiene and sanitation.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues or needs for replenishment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist in carpet cleaning as needed to maintain the overall appearance of the property.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all cleaning standards are met consistently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products used in both residential and hotel settings is advantageous.
