We are seeking a competent and friendly Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Job Duties
- Process guest check-in and checkout procedures while providing exceptional customer service
- Answer phone calls for reservations and guest inquiries
- Effectively respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints, relaying information to other staff as needed
- Assist with laundry duties such as loading/unloading washers and dryers, folding sheets,towels, and blankets
- Manage and maintain cleanliness of the lobby and common areas
- Coordinate with housekeepers to track readiness of rooms for check-in
- Must be able to complete daily tasks with little or no supervision
- Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be able to use a computer swiftly and effectively, training will be provided for learning the hotel management/reservation software
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit card and cash handling procedures
- Customer service with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with front desk operations, customer service, or hospitality is a plus
