Production Planner: 1st Shift

Super Brush LLC is a family-owned business in Springfield, MA. We offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package. 1st shift opening, M-F 8am - 4:30pm.

Candidates must have at least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Prepare job order packets for swab assembly production
• Receive production against appropriate job orders for swab assembly and retail production
• Print labels accurately and responsibly
• Update production schedule promptly and accurately
• Prepare first article packets
• Be capable of reading and updating schedule for preventive maintenance, set-up, and first article activities
• Be capable of updating the die board for set-ups with input from Senior Production Planner or Production Manager
• Be capable to update pick tickets and transfer material between jobs
• Maintain lot control while receiving
• Ensure product codes accuracy at the machines
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Back up in Retail shipping process
• Perform Senior Production Planner’s tasks as required
• Comply with company policies relative to regular attendance and punctuality
• Understand and comply with Clean Room Procedures: hairnet, beard guard (if applicable), gown, gloves, safety glasses (when applicable)
• Comply with all safety requirements

At a minimum, you will need:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to do simple arithmetic
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Date entry, scale settings, and gauge use experience
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to read and write English

Physical Demands:

• Medium paced position
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs
• Must be able to work seated or standing for extended period of time
