We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support our Lube & Auto Maintenance department. This role requires a strong leader with technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, a passion for customer service, and the ability to drive operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in Daily Operations – Oversee lube and maintenance services, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service.
Support & Supervise Staff – Assist in hiring, training, and managing technicians and service advisors.
Customer Service Excellence – Ensure customers receive expert advice and premium service for their vehicle needs.
Sales & Upselling – Promote additional services such as oil changes, fluid top-offs, and preventative maintenance.
Inventory & Supplies Management – Monitor and restock essential lube and auto maintenance products.
Equipment & Safety Compliance – Ensure all tools and service bays are well-maintained and meet safety regulations.
Monitor Performance Goals – Track productivity, service efficiency, and revenue targets.
Handle Customer Concerns – Address service-related issues promptly and professionally.
Administrative Duties – Assist with scheduling, reporting, and daily business operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 2 years in an automotive service, lube shop, or maintenance management role.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of oil changes, filters, tire rotations, and basic vehicle maintenance.
Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
Customer-Focused: Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Sales-Oriented: Ability to upsell services and maximize revenue opportunities.
