What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Assistant / Customer Support position at Supreme Hotel & Restaurant Supply?
1. Assist in preparation of inventory reports for major customers to ensure purchasing compliance
2. Assist in communicating with suppliers to get information needed to comply with customer’s requests.
3. Work with inventory control manager updating items pricing, description and information
4. Update and assist with Items maintenance
5. Assist with cycle counts and items adjustment
6. Assist Inv. Manager running re-order reports to maximize purchasing
7. Work with inventory manager entering and confirming Purchase orders
8. Prepare and maintain Supplier information list with price increases and discount information for correct Purchase Order pricing
9. Track suppliers’ special promotions to maximize purchasing on fast moving items
10. Prepare and distribute promotions for overstock items
11. Follow up, track and update Purchase Orders
12. Process Customer orders
13. Communicate customer’s back orders and special-order items arrivals with sales reps
