We seek a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with high integrity and professionalism who can join our Human Resources (HR) team. The HRBP works under the guidance of the HR Program Manager to develop employee capabilities and improve the performance of business operations within a designated client program by partnering with the corresponding Strategic Account Manager. This will include facilitating and implementing key HR strategies and client-specific initiatives to recruit, retain and develop the workforce throughout the United States and future Surefox international locations. In addition, the HRBP will help develop and implement process improvements in the HR department's service support to their teams and assist with day-to-day operations. The incumbent will showcase their communication, employee relations expertise, and organizational skills to ensure our client is appropriately supported and able to contribute to the business strategies and Surefox's overall mission and values. What you will do:
● Partner with program leadership throughout the onboarding/off-boarding processes, including offering guidance to complete the onboarding/off-boarding
process in the event of a new hire/termination/resignation to ensure all HR tasks are completed.
● Partner and assist the recruiting department and program leadership throughout the recruiting and onboarding/ offboarding processes, including the creation of
onboarding/offboarding guides and first-day setup, which includes but is not limited to follow-up phone calls, emails, and texts to candidates as well as notifying potential candidates of rescinded or changed job offers
● Answer frequent questions from candidates and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc., and refer more complex questions to
appropriate senior-level HR staff or the appropriate leadership
● Assist program leadership and employees with filing for supplemental paid sick leave related to COVID-19
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation, and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records for those who have a justified need-to-know
● Perform administrative and record keeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence
● Assist and reply to day-to-day correspondence/guidance received from employees and program leadership to ensure policies, processes, and procedures are followed and adhered
● Generate HR-related reports, gather information, and provide HR analysis as needed by the department, programs, and other departments upon request
● Assist the payroll department on such functions related to initially answering employee questions, facilitating processing errors, obtaining necessary
documentation to support requests, and assisting with the determination of the distribution of final checks to former employees
● Assist leadership with conducting talent reviews, succession planning, and retention assessments as needed
● Assist with the administration of employee benefits in support of the benefits department, which may include collecting, submitting employee information and
providing notice of change in status regarding health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers
● Assist in company-wide information dissemination and meetings related to open enrollment, new hire orientation, onboarding/offboarding, and announcements which may be related to but not limited to changes in organizational policy, procedures, benefits, etc.
● Assist with record audits, data collection, and HR analysis on mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, veteran population,
HR statistical information, and other compliance reviews as required
● Provide clerical support to the HR department and assist fellow HRBPs as needed
● Provide recommendations to program leaders regarding the execution of development plans or related employee performance counseling
● Coach program leaders while supporting them to develop their leadership strategies based on the capabilities of their employee's needs, requirements, and job satisfaction goals and to ensure state and federal compliance
● Work with program leaders and the HR team to develop and implement HR plans for the program, influencing and contributing to the overall achievement of Surefox strategy
● Participate in developing workforce plans to identify future needs
● Assist in managing annual HR events and communication with functional leaders, including but not limited to performance management, employee
engagement, talent reviews, etc.
● Advise, coach, teach and train at all levels of the organization on HR practices, policies, and procedures
● Act as a linkage to external trends, practices, and resources
● Implement and facilitate programs throughout the organization to help deliver on our engagement initiatives (i.e., surveys, inclusion & diversity, annual training, etc.)

● Perform other duties as assigned as directed by the HR Program Manager or the HR Director
What is required:
● 5 years of experience working in a high-volume, ideally in a high growth early, stage startup
● Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field
● 5 years of experience performing HR generalist responsibilities with exposure to employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, training,
and development
● Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws related to employment; prior experience in California preferred
● Must be eligible for employment within the United States
● Must be able to pass an extensive background/credit check and drug screening
● Proven experience with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, Paycom, Workday, or equivalent HRIS

What is Desired:
