We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Controls Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in FPGA and embedded programming for digital signal processors (DSP) or microcontrollers, particularly in power electronics applications such as power supplies, inverters, converters, and motor drives. Leadership experience is a significant advantage, as this role may advance to a director-level position.
About the Role - Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Develop and implement advanced digital control systems for power electronics applications.
- FPGA Development: Design, program, and optimize FPGA-based systems for real-time control and signal processing.
- Embedded Programming: Write efficient and reliable code for embedded systems using DSPs or microcontrollers.
- System Integration: Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate digital control solutions into both existing and new products.
- Project Management: Lead and manage control systems projects from concept to completion.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of engineers, fostering an innovative and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications - Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in FPGA development and embedded programming.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VHDL, Verilog, C/C , and MATLAB.
- Strong knowledge of digital control theory and power electronics applications.
Preferred Skills - Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in power electronic control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage engineering teams.
- Experience with high power or high voltage systems is a significant plus.
Pay range and compensation package - 170-225k
Salary : $170,000 - $225,000
