Job Summary
The Child Care Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall management and operation of the child care facility. This position involves collaborating with the Director to ensure a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for overseeing staff, developing educational programs, and fostering positive relationships with families and the community.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and standards.
- Support the Director in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote children's development.
- Foster a positive learning environment by engaging with children, parents, and staff effectively.
- Monitor classroom activities to ensure safety and adherence to curriculum guidelines.
- Collaborate with educational institutions to enhance program offerings and student engagement.
- Maintain open communication with families regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as record keeping, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Oversee Staff and scheduling.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational or child care setting is essential.
- Background in higher education teaching or education administration is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff members.
- A passion for educating young learners and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
- 2 years Of experience in the field.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.07 - $22.97 per hour
