Job Title: Varsity Assistant Track and Field CoachLocation: Sutton High SchoolEmployment Type: StipendStart Date: March 17, 2025Position Overview: Sutton High School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individualto join our track and field program as a Varsity Assistant Coach. The successful candidate willassist the Head Coach in the day-to-day operations of the team, including coaching, training,and supporting student-athletes in all aspects of their development.Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing training sessions for all track and fieldevents. Provide individual and group coaching for athletes, helping them to improve skills andperformance. Foster a positive and supportive team environment focused on sportsmanship,teamwork, and personal growth.
Assist with organizing and managing track and field meets. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff regarding expectations,progress, and any important team updates.Qualifications: Previous experience in track and field coaching or competing is preferred. Strong knowledge of track and field techniques and strategies for various events(sprints, distance, field events, etc.). Ability to motivate and engage student-athletes of varying skill levels.
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other coaching staff. Must be available for practices, meets, and other team events. Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Compensation: Per S.T.A.
