Job Description
Forklift Operators are responsible to load and unload trailers. 95% of your time is spent on the forklift working with a team of other operators in an open, cross dock environment.
11 PM START : MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY $21.48 / hour

- Inventory Management : Keep accurate records of materials and products handled, making note of quantities, locations, and any damages or discrepancies.
- Loading and Unloading : Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets with precision, ensuring that goods are properly secured to prevent damage during transportation.
- Dock Management : Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dock area, including removing debris and obstructions, and ensuring clear pathways for equipment and personnel.
- Quality Control : Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for any visible damage, report discrepancies, and work with the team to resolve issues.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations and participate in safety training.
- Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts, report any defects or issues, and help with recharging batteries or changing propane tanks.
Qualifications
At least one year experience operating a forklift on a cross dock. Loading and unloading trailers.
