About SV Academy

This BDR Residency Program includes a free, two-week sales training period, followed by a full-time, salaried 12-week Residency with an Employer Partner. During the program, you'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world sales experience, preparing you for a long-term career in sales and business development.
About the Business Development Role
BDRs are the driving force behind business growth. In this role, you'll research prospects, connect with decision-makers, and book meetings to drive revenue. You'll gain expertise in sales outreach, lead generation, and pipeline development, helping companies grow their customer base.
What You'll Do
Represent a company's products and services, articulating their value to potential customers.
Identify and generate new sales leads through emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and other marketing efforts.
Conduct market research to evaluate customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
Set up qualified meetings with potential clients.
Create and distribute sales and marketing materials to support lead generation efforts.
Track and manage sales leads using CRM tools like Salesforce, Apollo, and Atlas.io
Support top-of-funnel and middle-of-funnel marketing efforts to optimize lead generation and revenue growth.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, staying ahead of market developments.
Analyze lead quality and optimize marketing campaigns to improve sales effectiveness.
