The HR/People Operations Intern will quickly become an integral part of the People Operations Team by taking on a variety of HR tasks in a fast-paced, energetic environment. The HR Intern will directly assist with a wide range of projects, including recruiting, on-boarding/orientation and employee engagement.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Perform general HR administrative functions (file management, benefits administration)
- Attend job fairs and recruiting events
- Provide assistance and support to the recruitment process; reviewing resumes and job descriptions, posting job ads, helping to schedule interviews and create interview guides, sending applicant correspondence
- Develop recruitment materials
- Support the onboarding and new hire process
- Assist with planning and executing events
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program focused in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Most of your time will be spent in our main head quarters: 632 Hunt Valley Circle, New Kensington PA (located in the Westmorland Business and Research Park)
- Occasionally work on various job sites as needed
