WHO YOU ARE
You are an eager individual who is looking for an opportunity to assist in a business that helps children with special needs reach their full potential. As a Summer Intern, you will provide support to Human Resources staff in all HR functions and administrative processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Administrative Support - Assist with administrative tasks of the HR function during the work day
File Management - Work with the Human Resources team to update and manage personnel files
Collaboration - Support and collaborate with all HR functions of the business including training and recruitment
Other responsibilities as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an accredited program at a college or university
Willing to commit to the intern position for the entirety of our 6-week Extended School Year Program
Willing to learn, get hands-on experience, and support the Hope HR team
Able to commit up to 30 hours per week physically at the Hope Administration building
Passion for working in a business that supports individuals with developmental delays (Preferred)
Clearances & Training Required
Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance
Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance
Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education
Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children
CPR/First Aid
TB/Physical
