Position Description : Experienced, Dynamic Regional Property Supervisor Needed
Our national multi-family management company seeks an experienced, dynamic Regional Supervisor with a Whatever it Takes attitude to oversee fiscal accountability, market development, and personnel management of a multi-property portfolio.
This position is responsible for the successful day-to-day financial, administrative and maintenance operations of a portfolio of properties while assuring the companys standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered. The Regional Manager directly supervises the Property Managers and facilitates the successful development of the portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
Interview, select, hire, and train Property Managers. Mentor and train them on property management skills and concepts modeling effective supervisory techniques to include staff development, market evaluation and financial performance.
Ensure that budget guidelines are followed through consistently by reviewing concerns and issues.
Keep abreast of relevant issues and topics to incorporate into planning and decision making.
Evaluate financial performance and seasonal trends to identify problems and implement solutions.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure that Company standards, initiatives and procedures are operating efficiently.
Evaluate the market to identify competitive strategies for capital improvements.
Assist with due diligence and acquisitions.
Work to maximize resident retention.
Assist in implementing property-specific marketing plans.
Provide updates to Senior Management on all operational issues.
Prepare annual budgets and set property goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Expertise 5 years of Regional Manager (Multifamily Industry) experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Onesite and OPS Technology knowledge preferred.
