Call Center Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Call Center Customer Service Representative to:
- Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in providing everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs.
- Provide quality care in a compassionate patient- and family- centered environment.
- Support SwedishAmerican outpatient operations with schedule coordination of patient appointments, take messages and maintain patient demographic information within the electronic health record.
- Contribute tot he efficient operation of SwedishAmerican Health System Clinics by answering patient phone calls and accurately scheduling patient appointments for the clinics.
- Be aware of the direct effect on two Press Ganey metrics; ease of scheduling the patient appointment and ease of reaching the clinic on the phone.
Experience/Skills:
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Minimum 35 words per minute typing.
- Minimum one year experience in a call center environment, medical clinic reception or hospitality.
- Customer service experience and knowledge of clerical processes required.
- Must exhibit clear, courteous and pleasant communication skills with appropriate use of grammar, pronunciation and tone.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great organization and attention to detail.
- Above average written communication skills required.
- Ability to identify, escalate and route priority issues to the appropriate resource.
- Must enjoy helping patients and their families.
- Ability to multitask and use several computer programs at once while dealing with patients on the phone.
- Must have high energy and project a professional company image through phone interaction.
Pay:
