We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young children and fostering their development in a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to individual learning needs
- Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress through observation, standardized testing, and developmental assessments
- Collaborate with parents to provide feedback on children's progress and address any concerns
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a positive learning atmosphere
Skills
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Proficiency in early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of literacy education, math concepts, and physical education for young learners
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to meet varying student needs
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications
-Must be 18 years or older to apply
-Must be able to obtain an R Number through the Oregon Central Background Registry
-Must be willing and able to be First Aid/CPR certified and obtain Food Handler's Card
-Must be flexible with schedule
