Job Summary
The General Manager (GM) will oversee the daily operations of a self-established manufacturing facility, ensuring operational excellence, productivity, and profitability. The GM will be responsible for leading a diverse team, implementing efficient processes, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands a dynamic leader with a strong background in manufacturing operations, strategic planning, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Direct and manage all aspects of the manufacturing facility, including production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost efficiency goals.
- Oversee the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
Financial Management
- Develop, manage, and monitor the facility’s budget; analyze financial performance and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Optimize resource allocation, control operating costs, and maximize profitability.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, financial results, and key metrics for executive leadership.
Team Management and Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team including production managers, supervisors, and administrative staff.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.
- Establish clear performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and implement appropriate action plans.
Quality and Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Customer Relations and Business Development
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
