Assistant Manager Garden Center/Nursery (Full Time)

We are hiring for an Assistant Manager to help run the daily affairs of our business.

Details of this position:

- We offer full time /year round employment (M-Sat./ Some seasonal Sundays)

- Starting Salary is somewhat open and based on experience and other criteria

- Additional increases are possible (With experience, future sales bonuses...)

- This position assists in managing the daily affairs (Retail and Wholesale -general sales, watering, weeding. maintenance, potting, supervising others, scheduling, sales calls,

- You must be willing to occasionally work out in all weather conditions (sun, rain, wind ,cold, bugs... Winter work hours will require some outdoor greenhouse work)

- Need to be able to pick up 1 to 60lbs /- (loading heavy plants on occasion)

- Dependable Transportation is required

- Any applicant must be drama/drug free !

- You must be able to be self motivated and have strong problem solving abilities

- A strong work ethic /good attitude is required :)

- We are looking for someone who can have a positive interaction with all of our customers

- We are looking for someone that is organized, dependable, and honest.

- We are willing to train the right person with No Plant Experience, but experience with plants/trees/shrub names/etc... is a bonus and pays more to start :). There is plenty of room for pay increases with this position based on your effort! ALL are welcome to send resumes.
