Job Purpose:
Provides guests with snack and beverage service
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)
Provides guests with service by acknowledging and welcoming guests, responding to guest requests, promptly taking snack and beverage orders, entering ordering into the property management system, delivering snacks and beverages, and collecting and processing payment following established procedures. - 50%
Provides accounting of transactions during shift by entering inventory on the daily inventory sheet, entering cash transactions in to point-of-sale system, counting currency, logging credit cards on to cashier drop work sheet, balancing money against generated cashier report, and cash report against the inventory sheet following established procedures, and reporting discrepancies to the Food & Beverage Manager. - 20%
Promotes guest relations by offering appropriate up to date information regarding promotions and events, providing requested assistance and product knowledge, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner. - 15%
Ensures responsible alcohol beverage service polices are followed by asking for proper identification from guests that appear to be under the age of 30, monitoring alcohol consumption, ensuring guests do not become intoxicated following established procedures, stopping alcohol service at the designated time, and clearing the room of all alcoholic containers, glasses and bottles for each venue at the time specified. - 10%
Ensures snack bar and beverage carts are stocked and clean by submitting supply requisitions, placing delivered water, food and supplies in designated areas, replenishing condiments in the stations, cleaning shelves, condiment holders and counters, and securing snack bar and candy room according to established procedures. -5%

Education and Experience:
Essential:
High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.D.
21 years of age
Current Food Handlers Card
Ca Drivers License in good standing
Desirable:
Customer or Hospitality Service experience
Cash handling experience
Food server experience
Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:
Ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
Ability to stand and walk for up to ten hours at a time
Ability to count cash and make change in a fast-paced environment
Ability to recognize counterfeit monies
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
