Job Overview
As a Teaching Aide, you will support teachers in the classroom by assisting with instructional activities, supervising students, and preparing learning materials. Your work will involve working closely with students, helping manage classroom behavior, and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Duties
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Provide support to students individually or in small groups
- Supervise students during class, recess, and other school activities
- Help manage classroom materials and maintain a clean, organized environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher
- Support students with special needs by following Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assist in grading assignments and maintaining student records
- Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Previous experience in a classroom or childcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and a passion for working with children
- Ability to follow teacher instructions and school policies
- Basic knowledge of classroom technology and learning tools

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
