Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Corporate Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial records on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will oversee the accounting team, maintain and enhance financial controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating audits and addressing inquiries.
Manage and maintain internal financial books, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all financial records.
Analyze financial transactions and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Implement and uphold accounting policies and procedures in line with GAAP standards.
Collaborate across departments to streamline financial processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (5-7 years in a related role).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); CPA certification preferred.
Experience with Oracle Financial Suite.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
Proven ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and manage multiple priorities.
