Job Summary:
The Loan Origination System (LOS) Software Implementation Specialist II is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end implementation of LOS software solutions for our clients. This role requires an understanding of loan origination processes, project management methodologies, and software implementation. The Implementation Specialist II will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, product development, compliance, and client stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of LOS projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless implementation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process.
- Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
- Manage client expectations and ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client requirements.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project meetings and ensure that all team members are aligned on project goals and tasks.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve project-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.
- Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure that the LOS software functions as intended.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that any defects are resolved prior to go-live.
- Project Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure that all project documentation is stored and maintained in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP certification is desired.
- Experience:
- 4 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software implementation.
- Proven experience in implementing Loan Origination Systems or software in general.
- Strong understanding of loan origination processes.
- Skills:
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Work Environment:
This role may require occasional travel to client sites. The role is Based in Austin, Texas (Hybrid), but can be full remote for the right individual.
