What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development position at Synchrony Home Health Care?
We are an established boutique Medicare-certified home health care agency looking for an experienced, professional and dedicated business marketing representative to expand our agency's territory and lines of business. As an integral part of our team, you will be required to:
- Be responsible for generating referrals for home health care by establishing and maintaining relationships with, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, skilled home care agencies, hospice and other service providers.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Prepare business plans and maintain target lists, identify priorities and set a reasonable timetable.
- Prioritize accounts in accordance with the market sales plan.
- Gather and organize account-related information and provide input on key customer opportunities, service line extensions and proposal or contract pricing.
- Analyze the potential of the company's service area, to determine target markets.
- Analyze the company's organization, to determine its strengths and weaknesses.
- Analyze past, and current, marketing data to include patient/company relationships.
- Develop sales/marketing objectives and sales project.

-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a health related science or the equivalent plus a minimum of two years health care or related industry sales experience.
-Prior healthcare sales experience such as medical/durable equipment, selling in assisted/nursing facilities or as a community/clinical liaison.
-Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication and presentation skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PP) proficiency required.
-An active listener who acknowledges your customer's needs and a critical thinker who can decide what products best address those wants.
-Coordinating with leadership team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
