A leading global provider of marine electronics services is seeking an experienced Commercial Technical Support Specialist to join its Commercial Sales team in Deer Park, TX. This role involves assisting the sales team by evaluating customer specifications, identifying project costs, and preparing competitive and profitable estimates.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Analyze proposals, blueprints, and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirements.
Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and terms for competitive bids.
Research and recommend alternative products to create the most effective solutions.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including project management, construction, installation, labor, freight, and other charges.
Track and report cost savings or bid improvements for evaluation.
Follow internal procedures related to purchase orders, sales orders, RFQs, credit terms, quote reviews, and recordkeeping.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor"s degree preferred or a combination of college coursework and relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical customer service.
At least 3 years of experience in marine electronics and equipment.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
