The Financial Controller will manage all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and compliance, ensuring the fiscal health of the organization. This role requires a meticulous and strategic professional with proven leadership abilities and expertise in the hospitality industry.

As a hybrid position, the role combines on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, offering the best of both worlds.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with departmental heads to develop and monitor budgets.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Support the executive team in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• CPA designation (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
• Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
