Role : -
Windows team is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join their team.
The team will provide support in the new Miami office with our new trading floor.
The local team will provide desktop support to all MIH employees, AV support for the trading floor and office, support and administration for the enterprise wireless access points, perform work as local datacenter hands for the networking team, perform work as remote hands for clients, and provide IT support for remote users when available.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and implementing many of the following technologies :
Windows 10 and Windows 11
Active Directory user account administration
Dell desktop and laptop hardware
iOS Mobile Devices integrated with Mobile Iron or an MDM
Microsoft Office
Supporting desktop applications
Supporting AV equipment and rooms
Experience with rack mounted equipment and cable connects
Experience managing an enterprise wireless access point system is a plus
Experience with hardware troubleshooting to include familiarity with internal server components and networking hardware. (NIC Cards, Optics, SSD / HDDs.)
Experience with running / dressing fiber and copper cabling, cable management experience is a plus.
Flexibility to be on call for some after hours and potential weekend work supporting remote hands requests.
Role : -
Duties are supporting the desktop and mobile environment, performing remote hands for clients, managing client access to the enterprise wireless access points, move / add / changes in Active Directory and assisting teammates and other departments in project based work.
The ability to manage concurrent projects / assignments and prioritize work is needed.
good customer service mentality and communication skills are required.
The ability to lift 50 pounds is a requirement.
MIH is a highly regulated environment and attention to detail is required documenting tickets and actions.
The team works closely with other infrastructure, security, and business teams and the ability to work in a team as well as handle individual tasks is required.
