Job Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, delegating, and coordinating staffing and all daily operations within the nursing departments. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Performance Indicators
- Improve patient care and satisfaction ratings.
- Reduce errors and near misses in patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care and departmental operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Arts in Nursing from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school is required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a hospital-based healthcare setting with three (3) years of management-based experience in a hospital setting preferred.
