Key Tasks:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff during night shifts.
- Manage labor hours and resources effectively to meet business objectives.
- Develop and implement work schedules that meet operational needs.
- Ensure the proper utilization of Company assets in support of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance concerns.
- Review and improve warehouse productivity.
- Conduct shipping and loading audits to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Provide training and development opportunities for associates.
- Communicate regularly with associates to address their concerns and suggestions.
- Evaluate associate performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Enforce Company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Safety department on training and incident investigations.
- Making decisions on disciplinary actions or behavior modifications when necessary.
- Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, development, and termination.
- Undertake tasks equivalent to those supervised by others and perform additional duties as required.
- Comply with regulatory agencies' requirements (e.g., OSHA, AIB, FDA, USDA).
