Job Description
The Inbound Unloader is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products in our warehouse. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection and examination of products being unloaded for quality and quantity
- Notification of warehouse management of any discrepancies or issues with purchase orders
- Ensuring that drivers are safely secured before unloading begins
- Documentation of all overages, shortages, and damages
- Notification of warehouse management when trucks are late for scheduled appointment times
- Return of unwanted products to the truck
- Signing of all necessary paperwork before releasing the truck
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Prior experience with pallet jacks and forklifts is highly preferred
