Responsibilities :
- Leads and is accountable for projects and drives results (supports equipment).
- Provide technical direction and leadership across site / regions to drive / lead best practices and continuous improvement projects, keep abreast of new technology, and develop innovative solutions.
- Be a subject matter expert on HLA / system integration.
- Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies, and techniques and how to apply them to improve quality and efficiency.
- Carries out process improvement and problem resolution projects
- Performs research, design, and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment - applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, partnering with manufacturing teams.
- Supports the manufacturing launch of new / revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
- Represent the Operations organization as the prime technical contact on electro-mechanical device projects. Interacts with senior level internal and external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations
